‘Hybrid meat’? Meatable wants to get lab-grown meat to market faster by combining with plant-based proteins

Meatable and Love Handle are teaming up to create the world’s first hybrid meat innovation center. The two companies are working to blend the best of both their respective worlds — cultured meat and plant-based protein alternatives. Singapore is the only market in the world where cultured meat is permitted to be sold.

British company BeZero Carbon has raised a $50m Series B round. The raise is one of the largest for a European carbon offset ratings company, and brings BeZero’s total funding to $70m.

SolarSquare has raised Rs 100 crore ($12 million) in its Series A led by Elevation Capital and Lowercarbon, Chris Sacca’s climate-tech fund. This is the second funding round for the Mumbai-based startup in 2022.
